That would be the team with all the bees on it: Burgess, Burnside, Byron and Butcher. CV, Tony, Junior and Jack fired a nifty 12 under to steal the hefty cash prize from the likes of the Ray Shaw team which included Mike Anderson, Mike Bird and Denny Pitts (10 under); and the Jerry Burgess team which included Danny Thomas, John Chapman and Phil Carter (5 under, and yes we asked them if they only played nine holes...).

Schedule Change

This week's Tuesday outing has been changed from Jasper Muni to Country Oaks and will start at the usual time of 8:30 am.

Bird Team Rocks at Lakeview

This morning's results from the TBC scramble at Lakeview:

1. Mike Bird, Denny Pitts, Glen Burris, Jerry Robinson (-13)
2. Phil Culver, Junior Byron, John Chapman, Ray Shaw (-12)
3. Tony Burnside, Mike Anderson, Danny Thomas, CV Burgess (-10)

Comments: Glen Burris had the magic putter, rolling in several long putts including the decisive fifteen footer on the 18th hole. Good thing as the Bird team managed pars on holes 2, 6, 11 and 15, those count-em-in-the-bank birdie holes, thus giving their opponents a four stroke advantage right off the bat. However, a five under on the par 3's helped offset the disasters on #2 and #6.
